Hanging the door on the scout shed

Mondy was a holiday: Civil Rights Day in Oregon? or Martin Luther King Jr. Day? it was one or the other, I know Oregon calls it something different than many other states. Regardless, Kelly Weber and I decided to hang the garage (type) door on the scout shed that we have been building at the church. I took some pictures and decided to post them here since the scouts do not have a blog yet.

As you can see it was quite a project and we figured it out as we went along.

Kyle's 4th Birthday!!

Kyle had his fourth birthday on the 7th of January. His cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents came over for pizza, cake and Ice cream.

Kyle was very excited that he got a bunch of cars, cloths, and military vehicles; he ate his can of Lightning McQueen spaghetti-O's the very next day for lunch!! Tricia spent many hours making Kyle a cake that was in the shape of a backhoe (digger).

Grandma Bevans made sure that before she left for Kentucky to visit the McRoberts that she had plenty of presents and even an "It's my birthday" shirt for Kyle to enjoy.

Hanging Christmas Lights

Well, this is late, but early December the family worked together to hang our Christmas lights. Josie, in particular, had a very fun time climbing the ladder and messing with the strands of lights. Charlotte somehow got ahold of the camera and started taking pictures. I obviously had just come home from work and apparently couldn't be bothered with changing into Chritmas-light-hanging-friendly clothes. Oh well, they wash.
